ABOUT W4E

A Beacon of Hope and Support

The Warriors 4 Epilepsy organization has truly been a beacon of hope and unwavering support for countless individuals and families affected by epilepsy. Their commitment to raising awareness, providing education, and advocating for those living with epilepsy is nothing short of remarkable.

Personal Empowerment

Through their workshops and community events, The Warriors 4 Epilepsy has empowered many individuals with the knowledge and confidence to better manage their conditions. The information sessions and awareness events are always comprehensive, up-to-date, and incredibly helpful, allowing participants to learn about the latest treatments and lifestyle adaptations.

Building a Supportive Community

One of the organization's greatest strengths is its ability to create a sense of community. The support groups they facilitate have provided many with a network of understanding individuals who share similar experiences. These connections have made a profound difference in many lives by offering emotional support and practical advice.

Advocacy and Awareness

The Warriors 4 Epilepsy are also tireless advocates for change. Their efforts to influence policy and improve access to medical care for people with Epilepsy highlight W4E’s dedication to making a tangible difference in so many lives. Their advocacy work ensures that the voices of those affected by epilepsy are heard and respected.

Gratitude and Hope

Through their tireless work and dedication, the W4E organization has truly been a lifeline for those who navigate the challenges of epilepsy.

Advocacy and Storytelling…

At W4E, we firmly believe that every life matters as we truly understand the power of storytelling and its impact on both the author and the reader. We also have the ability to share other people’s thoughts and creativity with the world through their writings.

Mass incarceration is a huge issue in this country with a very flawed system where millions of individuals find themselves behind bars. From juveniles to the elderly, many are faced with serious medical needs and legal assistance.

This is why A2A Publications was established to help others bring their stories to life. The Stones Will Cry Out was also established as we recognized the need for advocacy, as well as the inherent talent and potential that exist within many incarcerated individuals who aim to showcase their voices and creative writing to a broader audience.

DOMITA WHITE, FOUNDER

My name is Domita White, and I am the founder of The Warriors 4 Epilepsy.

After losing my brother to Epilepsy on July 4, 2011, I dedicated my life to serving God and others. And this thriving passion led me to be called to two causes dear to my heart and they are Epilepsy and the prison movement.

In 2012, I founded The Warriors 4 Epilepsy; Aspire 2 Acquire, which started off as a youth program; and Bar None Prison Ministry to advocate for incarcerated men and women. I have advocated, written letters to the Bureau of Prisons, Regional and numerous politicians on behalf of incarcerated people.  I have also placed calls for those who are ostracized, bullied, shunned and forgotten by society. Because I  recognized that both plights are similar in that people with Epilepsy — like the incarcerated —  are often made to feel imprisoned in their minds by society, I knew that I had to do more.

I also provide spiritual counseling to many men and women. I have counseled two adults and four teenagers who were suicidal. It was through Godly wisdom and experience that I was able to assist these individuals in their time of deep despair.

I have a deep understanding that everyone falls under the umbrella of humanity, and that through deep structural change, there is the hope of an emergence of transformed, restored, and model citizens who deserve another chance to transition back into society. And it is also my hope to ensure inclusivity by finding more ways to level the playing field for Americans with disabilities by reshaping attitudes and eliminating stereotypes.

Some people say that they’ve never met anyone like me. I am just like anyone else. But, I see myself as DISTINCT; an exception to the rule. And this does not in any way make me better than anyone else, but DIFFERENT. Because my heart is to serve EVERYONE wholeheartedly and with no ulterior motive.

God gave me THE STONES WILL CRY OUT ministry based on Luke 19:40. ("I tell you," he replied, "if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.")

God anointed me to do this advocacy. And because of this, I will not compromise it nor allow anyone to jeopardize it. My mission is to love, assist, serve, and to do whatever He commands me to do. And so for that, I will continue to be distinct, separate, un-common, but ANOINTED with authority like JESUS!
